Warranty Policy

This Policy Last Updated April 8, 2022

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If for some reason the product is defective due to a manufacturing issue or the wrong item was shipped, this Warranty Policy will apply.

Returns and refunds for products incorrectly ordered or not needed are covered by our Return and Refund Policy.

Our products have a ninety (90) day warranty period from the date of delivery that covers defects in manufacturing or materials, except where otherwise stated on product pages, catalog pages, flyers, sales receipts, packing lists, quotations, estimates or email communications.

This means you will usually have 90 days after delivery of your item to identify and notify us of a defect in material or workmanship.

Customers must contact DPG prior to the start of the Warranty process to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number and form from our Customer Service Department

Warranty Limitations

To be eligible for a warranty, your item must be in the original condition as received or with no more wear from usage than would be expected for that type of item.

Items damaged by extended or excessive use prior to being identified as a potential warranty issue might not be accepted by DPG as a warranty claim.

Items with custom printing are not warrantied for defects in the original artwork whether the artwork was provided by you or created by us. Thus, it is important to carefully review pre-production samples and/or illustrations to confirm images and/or text are correct before approving the start of production units.

In addition, due to the inherent variability of foil imprinting and ink printing processes on vinyl and other product materials, some variation from piece to piece is to be expected and may not be covered by warranty.

If your warranty claim is approved, we’ll send you a Return Authorization (RA) number and RA form. Items sent back to us without first obtaining a RA number will not be accepted.

Warranty Conditions

If the above conditions are not met, DPG reserves the right to reject the warranty claim and refund or exchange request.

We reserve the right to first resolve warranty claims by shipping replacement items matching those originally ordered at no additional cost to you. Replacements will be sent after we confirm by reviewing emailed photographs of the item(s), or after inspecting the item(s) after they are returned to us.

Warranty Refunds

Replacement of warranty items is the primary method of addressing warranty claims.

Refunds for warranty items are at our sole discretion with replacement being the typical option. Full or partial refunds that are approved will be issued after items have been returned and inspected to confirm the warranty issue.

If a warranty related refund is approved, please remember it can take time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. Please contact us if you do not see a refund credit within 5 – 7 business days.


Returns and refunds for products incorrectly ordered or not needed are covered by our Return and Refund Policy. 


Damages and Shipping Issues

Unfortunately, if the warranty items you send back to us arrive with shipping damage due to poor packaging, we may reduce the amount refunded if it is difficult to determine between the original defect and damage from poor return packaging. Please be sure to securely package returned items to avoid shipping damage. It is very difficult to obtain credit from shipping companies for damages during shipment.

If this situation arises, we will provide you with photos of the shipping damage to justify any adjustments to refunded amounts due to poor packaging.

Other Details

This Warranty Policy applies to individuals, businesses, government agencies, nonprofits and resellers unless superseded by a written contract or written purchase clause that DPG accepted prior to your purchase.

This Warranty policy applies to items purchased online, in-store, mail order, by phone, email or fax from DAKONTE PRODUCT GROUP, INC or one of the company’s divisions or websites listed below.

DPG reserves the right to change this Policy with or without notifying you in advance. The Policy terms that will apply to your order will be those stated on this page as of the date of your order, unless superseded by specific terms mutually agreed to in writing prior to your purchase.

The Policy Terms are transferable to legal successors of either you or us, but are not transferrable to third-parties or designees.
